What is Table Rose
The table rose, also known as the Moss Rose plant, is an annual ground cover that blooms in a variety of hues.
Portulaca grandiflora is a succulent flowering plant of the Portulacaceae family which is native to southern Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay. It is commonly grown in gardens. Rose moss, eleven o’clock, Mexican rose, moss rose, the sun rose, rock rose, and moss-rose purslane is some of its other names.
It can also be found throughout South Asia, as well as in most Balkan cities with historic 18th- and 19th-century architecture.
It’s a little, fast-growing annual plant that can reach 30 cm in height, though it’s normally much shorter. It can, however, easily reach this height if properly cultivated. The thick, meaty leaves grow up to 2.5 cm long and are placed alternately or in tiny clusters.
